The future is exciting. Ready?

Vodafone were on a mission to win the hearts and minds of their customer base. So to celebrate Christmas, they decided to gift more than 5 million customers with a free reward. Text messages and push notifications were sent informing customers to register for Costa Coffees, Krispy Kreme doughnuts, festive M&S treats or a range of Vodafone network bundles.

Brand loyalty

A series of animations, emails and reward redemption microsites were designed for each gift. The below-the-line activity was supported by a social media campaign that encouraged customers to share their gift online using hashtag #Vodafonetreats. A successful marketing technique Vodafone used to increase their Net Promoter Score.

VeryMe

The on-going strategy was then transformed into a full-blown loyalty scheme with its own dedicated app giving customers the opportunity to take advantage of free treats, regular giveaways and money off vouchers. The VeryMe app uses machine learning to tailor and personalise deals to meet individual tastes.
